Our next production is our MainStage Production which will be cast in January 2027, rehearse from January to June 2027 and culminate in performances at the Yukon Arts Centre in June 2027.

ROLES:
ELIZABETH SAWYER – (female*, 30s+) An outcast.
SCRATCH – (male*, 20s+) The devil.
SIR ARTHUR – (male*, 30s+) A wealthy and powerful man.
CUDDY – (male*, 18-30) Sir Arthur’s son, painfully shy, a Morris dancer.
FRANK THORNEY – (male*, 18-30) A confident, ambitious and successful young man, charming and ruthless.
WINNIFRED – (female*, 18-30) Sir Arthur’s servant, resigned and pragmatic, secretly married to Frank.
*These are the genders of the characters only - they may be played by actors of any gender
Time: 1600’s, but also now. The dialogue is contemporary. No accents required.
Place: Britain, but also here.
In this witty and thought-provoking play, a charming devil arrives in the quiet village of Edmonton to bargain for the souls of its residents in exchange for their darkest wishes. Elizabeth should be his easiest target, having been labeled a “witch” and cast out by the town, but her soul is not so readily bought…
REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE DATES:
Rehearsals will begin September 2, and run Tuesday-Friday 6-10pm, and Saturdays 10am-5pm. Performances will run Wednesday-Saturday evenings at the Guild Hall, Oct. 8-24.
