Ella has always been excited to have an opportunity to perform and be onstage, and she is ecstatic to take part in yet another YTYP production! Ella joined YTYP back in 2019 for their very first production, Disney's Newsies, and has been here ever since! Some of Ella’s past favourite credits include Fantine in Les Misérables (2022), Mimi Marquez in Rent (2023), Eurydice in Hadestown: Teen Edition (2024), and Countess Lily in Anastasia (2025).
This team has been working so hard on this show, and we can’t wait to let it go ❄️😉

Juliet (she/her) is a 17 year old student in her senior year at F.H Collins Secondary School. After taking a nearly 5 year hiatus from theatre, Juliet is thrilled to be back on stage with YTYP. Her past experience includes Cosette (Les Mis) and various variety shows, all through YTYP. When not saving Arendelle, Juliet can be found exploring the Yukon and the rest of Canada on bikes and skis. She is so excited to be a part of bringing this iconic story to life and can’t wait for you all to enjoy it!

Cohen (he/him) is grateful to have the opportunity to be part of the cast of Frozen in YTYP’s 2026 Winter Show. Cohen has been part of the YTYP MainStage Company since 2019’s Newsies (ensemble) and has since performed in Les Miserables (Thenardier), Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere), and Fiddler on the Roof (Tevye), and three Senior Summer Production including Rent (Tom Collins), Hadestown (Hermes), and last year’s Anastasia (Vlad). Cohen was also part of the cast of Stonecliff (Young Michael Heney) and performed with both the Heart of Riverdale Musical Theatre Program and the Frantic Follies Vaudeville Camp. Cohen is currently studying elementary education at the University of Victoria.

Despite being a born and raised Yukoner, MGT (he/him) migrates south every winter to study Economics at the University of Victoria. He’s grateful to have spent his winter break working on Frozen with YTYP—who always make the Yukon feel that little bit warmer. Upon returning to Victoria, Michael will begin rehearsing for VOS’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
Favourite musical credits include: Legally Blonde [VOS], Anastasia (Dmitry), Hadestown (Orpheus), Rent (Roger), Beauty and the Beast (Gaston), Les Miserables (Javert) [YTYP], Ride the Cyclone (Ricky Potts) [Guild Hall], and Be More Chill (The Squip) [Candlestick Theatre].

Luca is excited to play Olaf in this show! He has played other roles before as well! He is very grateful for the opportunities YTYP has given him!!
---
Producer note: We appreciate Luca's brevity - but we are certainly grateful that he took a break from his training in musical theatre at Sheridan to join us for this crazy show in which he had to learn new skills (puppetry) in record time. Luca has been with YTYP since Les Miserables and we are so happy he is part of this company.

Thea Roy-Gelinas is 14 years old and loves performing. Since she was young, Thea has always loved acting and experimenting with theatre. In recent years, she’s become immersed in the world of theatre through YTYP. Notably, she was Hoffa/reporter in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2025), Shprintze in Fiddler on the Roof (2024), and most recently she was Julia in Two Gentlemen of Verona. When she’s not being a reindeer or at school, Thea can be found kayaking, rock climbing or playing the French horn. She is so thrilled to be a part of such a fun production and can’t wait to see this show come to life!

Nolan (he/him) is a Grade 12 student who is grateful for the opportunity to once again be cast with Yukon Theatre for Young People. He previously starred as Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and is excited to return to the stage as Oaken in Frozen. Nolan loves performing on stage for his community and has created many incredible memories with this company over the years. Theatre has been an important part of his life, helping him grow as a performer and as a person. Nolan hopes to continue being involved in theatre and performing for many years to come.

She is also in rehearsals for her role as Molly in The Heart of Riverdale's upcoming production of Annie Jr. Mabel is 10 years old and can be found leaping in the halls at Selkirk Elementary. Mabel's current dream role is to appear in a stage production of Wicked. Mabel likes dancing, drawing, being upside down, sometimes running, sleeping and perogies. She would like to thank her sisters for dancing, singing, creating and telling stories, together with her.

Mary-Jane Dodd is 12 years old and is enjoying grade 7 at Christ the King school. She has been a singer and performer for most of her life, performing on stage at the Yukon Arts Center more times than she can remember! Mary-Jane’s first big role was when she was 10 years old with Art from the Heart, in Matilda Jr. where she played Ms. Honey, and the following year she played the lead role in Mary Poppins Jr. Most recently, she sang a part in Puccini’s Tosca, with the Edmonton Opera. Mary-Jane’s favourite Broadway musical is Hamilton. She loves it so much that she dressed up as Eliza Schuyler this past Halloween! Mary-Jane hopes to one day have a part in the Hamilton production.
Mary-Jane fell in love with Frozen when she was a little girl and used to force her family to act out scenes with her when she was just 2 years old. Mary-Jane was ecstatic when she learned that YTYP was doing Frozen the musical, and she knew that she had to audition. Luckily, she got the part she was hoping for as Young Elsa and cannot wait for the opening night!

Although theatre is her main extracurricular, outside of theatre you can find her playing an instrument, writing a song or hanging out with an animal. She is looking forward to bringing this show to audiences so you can all experience the magic of this incredible story.

Hailey Woodford has found her love for theatre in the past four years, attending a semester at MAD, and participating in three previous YTYP shows.
