Work BackStage ON FIDDLER ON THE ROOF!
The Program
Our backstage program is offered in conjunction with the Yukon Arts Centre and pairs youth interested in technical roles with the professional hired to deliver a certain aspect of the performance. Youth work along side them to assist them in their area of interest. Only one youth will be selected for each role, and each applicant will need to go through an interview process.
The Application Process
Young people interested in a production mentorship must be a minimum of 14 years of age, and submit a resume and cover letter outlining their experience and interest in the role they have selected (please tell us what backstage roles interest you the most). These applications will be considered by the professional mentor, and candidates will be shortlisted prior to the interview process. The deadline for applications for Fiddler on the Roof is February 15, 2023. Candidates will participate in a group interview with the mentors for each position.

Expectations
Successful applicants to the backstage mentorship program will be expected to adhere to the Yukon Theatre for Young People Code of Conduct, as well as sign a letter of commitment to the production.
